About us
We are a Community Interest Company (CiC), and were founded in 2024.
The objectives of Yarm Bowling Club are to carry on activities which benefit the community of Yarm and surrounding areas; to provide opportunities for social activity, healthy exercise, and friendly competition through the participation in, and enjoyment of, lawn bowls.
The club will provide opportunities, and equipment as required, for beginners, and established bowlers, regardless of age, gender and ability.
Our Bowling Surface
We have an all weather green supplied by Tiger Turf UK, it is the SuperGreen 2.
Tiger Turf’s part sand filled SuperGreen surface provides bowlers with a true, consistent surface that can be used all year round.
We are situated to the South West of Yarm on the Morely Carr Estate. See Here

Yorkshire Bowling Association return for a second year
The Yorkshire Bowling Association will be on the green on Sunday 19th April 2026 They have requested a return to Yarm for a second year for early practise and selection for the coming season. The green will be closed on 19th April
Winter Aussie Pairs Final League Table
Congratulations to Michael Thorpe and David Small, who played all 10 games unbeaten. Thanks to all those brave souls who took part through the winter months
New Season Friendly Matches
We have received an amazing number offers of friendly matches. These are the dates and opponents confirmed so far; 21st March Elm Tree Home (1:30 start) 23rd April Northallerton Away (6:30 start) 31st May Richmond Away (1:30 start)
Northallerton Friendly Match
Our first friendly match is all set for Tuesday 9th Sept starting at 6pm. We will be playing Northallerton a very old (125 years) and large bowling club (220 members) The weather forecast looks good and dry for the evening. So if you are free why not come and
First Australian Pairs League Matches
The first internal competition commenced with the Australian Pair League. There was a good turn out, good weather and great fun. The league will run every Thursday at 13:15

Full Annual Membership

Full Annual Membership applies to members who may wish to participate in external competitions, internal competitions, and friendlies.
Use of the green during the playing season when available.

Junior membership applies to those up to the age of
